Catheter Precision Publishes Comparative Study of LockeT vs. Abbott's Perclose Device

Catheter Precision conducted a study involving 172 patients to compare the LockeT device with Abbott's Perclose vascular closure device (VCD). The results indicated that LockeT had a significantly lower access-site complication rate of 1.2%, compared to 9.3% for Perclose, and a 0.0% device failure rate versus 4.7% for Perclose. Both devices showed equivalent efficiency in terms of time to hemostasis and patient discharge rates. The findings were published in The Journal of Interventional Cardiology.
