Air Canada Reports Third Quarter 2026 Financial Results

Air Canada reported record third-quarter 2026 operating revenue of $6.984 billion, with adjusted EBITDA of $936 million and operating income of $261 million. Passenger load factor reached 89%, yield rose 11%, cargo revenue grew 33%, and total unit revenue increased 14% year over year. The airline completed a substantial issuer bid that reduced shares outstanding by about 10% and used Aeroplan transaction proceeds to repay $1.7 billion in debt. Its updated full-year 2026 guidance reflects expectations for higher fuel prices than previously assumed.
