Amazon Web Services Announces AWS Interconnect

Amazon Web Services (AWS) has introduced AWS Interconnect, a managed connectivity service designed to simplify the connection of business infrastructure to the AWS cloud. Currently in public preview, the service automates network configurations and is being developed in collaboration with partners like Megaport. It features MACsec encryption and redundant links, with general availability anticipated by the end of 2026, starting in the Ashburn and San Jose regions.
