American Express and IHG Hotels & Resorts Launch Partnership in China

American Express and IHG Hotels & Resorts have launched a partnership aimed at eligible premium cardholders in mainland China. Platinum Cardmembers can register for complimentary IHG One Rewards Platinum Elite status through 2027, with the possibility of extending it to 2028 by completing 10 qualifying nights. Additionally, cardholders can earn RMB 370 cashback on spending of at least RMB 1,800 at participating IHG hotels until the end of 2026, enhancing travel benefits for American Express's premium customers in China.
