Bridgebio Presents New Exploratory Cardiac Data From 12-Month Interim Analysis Of FORTIFY, Phase 3 Clinical Trial Of Oral BBP-418 In Individuals With Limb-Girdle Muscular Dystrophy Type 2I/R9, At 31st Annual Congress Of The World Muscle Society In Hiroshima

BridgeBio Pharma, Inc. presented new exploratory cardiac data from the 12-month interim analysis of its Phase 3 clinical trial, FORTIFY, for oral BBP-418 in individuals with limb-girdle muscular dystrophy type 2I/R9. The trial showed that 100% of treated individuals with elevated HS troponin I returned to normal levels by Month 12, compared to 40% in the placebo group (p=0.0248). Additionally, 54% of BBP-418-treated individuals had stable or improved left ventricular ejection fraction (LVEF) at Month 12 versus 25% in the placebo arm (p=0.0262). BBP-418 is currently under FDA Priority Review with a target action date of November 27, 2026.
