Basilea Receives USD 37.5 Million Milestone Payment for Cresemba Sales

Basilea Pharmaceutica said strong European sales of its antifungal drug Cresemba triggered a USD 37.5 million milestone payment from license partner Pfizer. Cresemba’s global in-market sales totaled USD 817 million in the 12 months ending June 2026, making it the largest branded antifungal for invasive fungal infections, according to the company. Basilea said it will continue focusing on patient outcomes with Cresemba and developing its broader R&D portfolio.
