CBAK Energy Technology Limited (NASDAQ: CBAT) has signed an investment agreement with the Nanjing Gaochun Economic Development Zone to develop and manufacture large cylindrical sodium-ion battery cells and integrated battery systems. This initiative will increase the company's annual production capacity by 12 gigawatt-hours (GWh), furthering its sodium-ion expansion strategy.
