Cummins to Provide Tier 4 Locomotive Technology for New York & Atlantic Railway

Cummins has been chosen to supply Tier 4 locomotive technology for the upgrade of four locomotives in the New York & Atlantic Railway fleet. This project is backed by a $6.5 million federal CRISI grant, contributing to a total investment of $10.9 million from public and private sources. The initiative focuses on reducing emissions and enhancing operational performance by adhering to the stringent U.S. EPA standards for non-road diesel engines.
