CN U.S. Rail Subsidiaries And Amtrak Announce Agreements To Strengthen Partnership And Support Safe, Reliable Passenger And Freight Service On CN’s U.S. Rail Network

CN's U.S. rail subsidiaries, including Illinois Central Railroad and Grand Trunk Western Railroad, have announced a new eight-year operating agreement with Amtrak to enhance their partnership and ensure safe, reliable passenger and freight services on CN's U.S. rail network. This agreement resolves a long-standing issue before the Surface Transportation Board regarding Amtrak services on CN-owned rail lines, including the City of New Orleans, Illini/Saluki, and Wolverine routes.
