Encore Capital Group reported record third-quarter 2026 global collections of $754 million and portfolio purchases of $390 million, with earnings per share rising 76% to $5.57. It repurchased about $27 million of stock during the quarter, bringing year-to-date buybacks to $73 million. The company raised its 2026 outlook, projecting portfolio purchases of $1.50 billion–$1.55 billion, collections of $2.90 billion–$2.95 billion, and EPS of $15.50–$16.00.
