Ethereum Eyes $3,000 as Mystery Whale Rotates $87 Million Out of Bitcoin

Ethereum (ETH) has risen above $2,700, its highest level since January, following significant whale activity, including a transaction where a whale sold 1,107 BTC for $86.76 million and purchased 34,422 ETH for $86.5 million. Additionally, another trader, who previously sold 10,500 ETH for $23.64 million, has bought back 7,567 ETH worth $19.93 million. Ethereum's holder base has reached a record 207.17 million non-empty wallets, with over 40 million ETH currently staked and the network securing approximately $50 billion in total value locked in decentralized finance.
