Eyepoint Says Topline Results From Lucia Phase 3 Trial Of Duravyu (Vorolanib Intravitreal Insert) For Wet Age-Related Macular Degeneration Did Not Achieve The Primary Endpoint

Eyepoint Pharmaceuticals announced that the LUCIA Phase 3 trial for its Duravyu (Vorolanib Intravitreal Insert) for wet age-related macular degeneration did not meet its primary endpoint of statistical non-inferiority compared to the on-label aflibercept control. However, the trial achieved key secondary endpoints, including a 38% reduction in treatment burden and a favorable safety profile. The company is also on track with its DME program, expecting pivotal Phase 3 topline data from two identical clinical trials in Q4 2027.
