Gold Fields Receives Construction Authorization for Windfall Mining Project

Gold Fields and its wholly owned subsidiary Windfall Mining Group received a certificate of authorization to proceed with the Windfall mining project in Eeyou Istchee Baie-James, following completion of the environmental and social impact review. The project is expected to produce approximately 300,000 ounces of gold annually once fully operational. The authorization follows a June 2026 Uukiimau Agreement with Cree representatives that established a partnership framework for the project’s next phase.
