Guardant Health Announces Results From Its COSMOS-MEL01 Trial Shows 81% Sensitivity For Distant Recurrence, 100% Post-Treatment Facility

Guardant Health, Inc. (NASDAQ: GH) announced the publication of results from its COSMOS-MEL01 trial in the journal Cancer Research Communications. The study demonstrated an 81% sensitivity for distant recurrence and 100% specificity for post-treatment using the Guardant Reveal blood test for molecular residual disease detection in resected stage II–III melanoma patients. Additionally, the detection of molecular residual disease approximately four weeks post-surgery was linked to a 12-fold increased risk of recurrence and over a 30-fold increased risk of death.
