Lightcurve has implemented Harmonic's cOS™ virtualized platform to provide multi-gigabit broadband services, delivering up to 8 Gbps downstream and 1 Gbps upstream to multi-dwelling units (MDUs) using existing coax infrastructure. This approach allows Lightcurve to offer competitive internet speeds without the expense of fiber overbuild, while also maintaining the option for future fiber integration. The virtualized access architecture supports these high speeds over DOCSIS technology.
