SeaStar Medical Reports Positive Survival Data for QUELIMMUNE in Pediatric Sepsis-Associated AKI

SeaStar Medical Holding Corporation reported positive survival data for its QUELIMMUNE therapy at the American Society of Nephrology's Kidney Week 2026. The study showed a 65.1% survival rate at day 90 for 43 pediatric patients treated with QUELIMMUNE, compared to 47.4% in a historical control group of 196 patients. The results were consistent across various analyses and support the therapy's FDA approval under a Humanitarian Device Exemption in 2024.
