Intel and SambaNova Systems have expanded their strategic partnership, building on a previous collaboration from February 2026. The partnership focuses on an Intel Xeon-based AI cloud and joint selling initiatives, developing a blueprint for heterogeneous inference that utilizes various technologies. Intel holds a 9% stake in SambaNova, with Intel CEO Lip-Bu Tan as chair of SambaNova's board. This alliance comes after the conclusion of takeover discussions earlier in 2026, aiming to meet the rising demand for efficient AI inference.
