Kopin Obtains Additional $18.6M U.S. Army IBAS Award For Color MicroLED Technology; Latest Award Brings Kopin’s Total IBAS Funding To $34M

Kopin Corporation has received an $18.6 million award from the U.S. Army under the Industrial Base Analysis and Sustainment (IBAS) program, bringing its total IBAS funding to $34 million. This funding will support the development of two additional MicroLED display configurations for ground-soldier and pilot applications, as well as enhance U.S.-based MicroLED manufacturing capabilities.
