Ovintiv Inc. Agrees to Acquire Logan Energy Corp. for Approximately $890 Million

Ovintiv agreed to acquire Logan Energy for C$1.40 per share in cash, valuing the transaction at approximately $890 million (C$1.26 billion), including Logan’s net debt. The deal would add about 266,000 net acres and 420 net 10,000-foot equivalent well locations to Ovintiv’s Montney position. Closing is expected in early Q1 2027, subject to customary conditions and regulatory approvals.
