Eli Lilly's Foundayo Receives FDA Approval To Treat Adults With Obesity

Eli Lilly and Company (NYSE: LLY) has received FDA approval for Foundayo (orforglipron), a treatment for adults with obesity or overweight with related medical issues. The medication is intended to be used alongside a reduced-calorie diet and increased physical activity to aid in weight loss and maintenance. Foundayo will be available through LillyDirect starting April 6, with subsequent availability through U.S. retail pharmacies and telehealth providers.
