MacroGenics Announces Positive Interim Phase 1 Results for MGC026

MacroGenics, Inc. announced positive interim results from its Phase 1 clinical study of MGC026, a B7-H3-directed antibody-drug conjugate, presented at the ESMO 2026 Congress. The study showed a 27% best overall response rate in heavily pretreated patients with squamous cell carcinoma of the head and neck. The drug demonstrated a manageable safety profile with no treatment-related discontinuations. Following these results, MacroGenics plans to begin a front-line SCCHN cohort to evaluate MGC026 in combination with pembrolizumab.
