Mühlbauer Group Partners with QuantumScape for Solid-State Battery Production

Mühlbauer Group has partnered with QuantumScape to support the development of a 100 MWh solid-state battery cell production line. Mühlbauer will provide cell assembly equipment and engineering support, having already assessed QuantumScape's pilot facility. The project aims to address the increasing demand for solid-state batteries in sectors such as AI data centers, aerospace, and defense, with production expected to start in 2028.
