Newron Completes Enrollment of Pivotal Phase 3 ENIGMA-TRS 1 Study

Newron Pharmaceuticals has completed patient enrollment for its pivotal Phase 3 clinical trial, ENIGMA-TRS 1, with 618 patients participating. This 52-week study, conducted in over 80 centers across 19 countries, aims to evaluate the efficacy of evenamide for treatment-resistant schizophrenia, with initial results expected in Q1 2027. Additionally, Newron is conducting a parallel study, ENIGMA-TRS 2, targeting at least 400 patients, while addressing a clinical hold from the FDA for U.S. centers.
