Ormat Technologies Selected For Up To ~$35M In U.S. DOE Funding, In Partnership With SLB And The University Of Utah, For Nevada And Utah Geothermal Projects

Ormat Technologies Inc. has been awarded up to approximately $35 million in funding from the U.S. Department of Energy for geothermal projects in Nevada and Utah, in collaboration with SLB and the University of Utah. The funding includes up to $25 million for the Dixie Valley Enhanced Geothermal Systems project and up to $9.7 million for the Cove Fort hydrothermal project. These projects aim to advance geothermal energy technology through design, drilling, and subsurface characterization.
