Peoples Bancorp Receives All Necessary Regulatory Approvals For Citizens National Merger

Peoples Bancorp Inc. (NASDAQ: PEBO) has received all necessary regulatory approvals for its merger with Citizens National Corporation (OTCPK: CZNL), with Peoples as the surviving entity. The merger agreement, dated April 20, 2026, was approved by Citizens' shareholders on August 6, 2026. This merger includes the integration of Peoples Bank with Citizens' wholly owned subsidiary, Citizens Bank of Kentucky, Inc.
