Charles Schwab has launched Charley, a generative AI-powered assistant aimed at enhancing client engagement by consolidating information, tools, and support into a single conversational interface. The assistant will be available to eligible U.S. retail clients starting in October, allowing them to interact via voice or text, ask questions, receive information, and complete tasks. Research indicates that 65% of retail investors believe AI can assist in executing routine tasks or contribute significantly to investing when combined with human expertise.
