Skanska Reports Strong Q3 Results with Record Order Backlog

Skanska’s third-quarter construction orders rose 70% year over year to SEK 68 billion, including an SEK 11.2 billion U.S. data center contract. Its order backlog reached a record SEK 328.3 billion, while the construction operating margin improved to 5% from 4.2% as major projects neared completion. Management said higher construction costs were passed on to clients without cancellations or margin pressure.
