SELLAS Life Sciences Announces Preclinical Data Demonstrating SLS009 Synergy And Activity In MYC-Amplified Pancreatic Cancer Models

SELLAS Life Sciences Group, Inc. (NASDAQ: SLS) announced preclinical data demonstrating that its CDK9 inhibitor SLS009 significantly increased apoptosis in MYC-amplified pancreatic cancer models, outperforming the RAS inhibitor daraxonrasib by more than six-fold. The combination of SLS009 with daraxonrasib resulted in an apoptosis rate of 36.5% and necrosis of 30.6%, suggesting a potential strategy to enhance RAS-directed therapy. Additionally, SLS009 showed synergistic activity when combined with BET inhibition, further supporting its efficacy against MYC-driven pancreatic cancer. These findings were presented at the AACR Conference on Pancreatic Cancer in San Diego.
