SUSS MicroTec Resolves Production Relocation and Adjusts Fiscal Year 2026 Guidance

SUSS MicroTec will concentrate production in Zhubei, Taiwan, and Sternenfels, Germany, ending system and module production at its Garching headquarters and affecting about 70 employees. The restructuring is expected to cost approximately €6.2 million, including €4.5 million in fiscal 2026. The company lowered its 2026 revenue guidance to €405 million–€425 million and forecasts an EBIT margin of 5%–7%, citing the one-off costs and supply-chain constraints. Management said the changes aim to improve scalability and operational efficiency.
