Sarepta Therapeutics presented new data at the 31st Annual Congress of the World Muscle Society, demonstrating clinically meaningful benefits of its treatment ELEVIDYS (delandistrogene moxeparvovec) in older ambulatory patients with Duchenne muscular dystrophy. Patients aged 8-12 showed durable improvements over two years compared to a matched control group, while younger patients (ages 2-3) exhibited strong dystrophin expression 12 weeks post-infusion. The safety profile of the treatment remained consistent, with no new safety signals identified.
