Sunshine Silver Mining Expands Consolidated Mineral Rights Position In Idaho's Silver Valley By ~14,100 Acres, Or 60%, To ~38,000 Acres

Sunshine Silver Mining & Refining Company (NYSE: SSMR) has expanded its consolidated mineral rights position in Idaho's Silver Valley by approximately 14,100 acres, increasing its total holdings to around 38,000 acres, a 60% increase. The company, now the largest mineral rights holder in the Silver Valley, is launching a multi-year, 45,000-meter surface exploration drilling program targeting three areas: East Sunshine, Rock Creek, and Pine Creek, with drilling expected to commence in the fourth quarter of this year.
