AT&T, Global Infrastructure Partners, Canada Pension Investment Board Agree To Create New U.S. Fiber JV

AT&T Inc. (NYSE:T) has partnered with Global Infrastructure Partners and Canada Pension Plan Investment Board to establish a new U.S. fiber joint venture aimed at expanding fiber access to more homes. The joint venture will include Forged Fiber 37, which holds the fiber build engine and network assets recently acquired from Lumen, as well as Gigapower, AT&T's existing wholesale fiber joint venture with GIP.
