Northwestel Signs Contract With Telesat For Telesat Lightspeed Low Earth Orbit Satellite Services

Northwestel has signed a multi-year contract with Telesat for its Lightspeed Low Earth Orbit (LEO) satellite services. This partnership will enable Northwestel to provide low latency, sovereign broadband connectivity to communities in Northern Canada, with plans offering at least 50 Mbps download and 10 Mbps upload speeds. The initiative aims to enhance high-speed broadband access across the region.
