Vodafone, Deutsche Telekom, Orange, and Telefónica Plan Joint Bid for MSS Spectrum

Vodafone, Deutsche Telekom, Orange, and Telefónica have signed a Letter of Intent to jointly bid for Mobile Satellite Services (MSS) spectrum in Europe. The aim is to ensure open access for Direct-to-Device (D2D) services, enabling unmodified smartphones to connect directly to satellites. This collaboration is expected to enhance satellite-based mobile connectivity across the region.
