(NASDAQ:VTIX), a virtual reality developer, announced Monday that it has entered into a Cooperative Research and Development Agreement (CRADA) with the U.S. Navy's Naval Postgraduate School to evaluate its Omni One system for military training and simulation. Research Collaboration With Navy Under the agreement, Virtuix will provide its Omni One platform to the school's Modeling, Virtual Environments, and Simulation (MOVES) Institute. Researchers will assess its effectiveness for training using compact, omnidirectional movement technology. The agreement also supports the development of Virtuix's Virtual Terrain Walk (VTW) system, which enables users to physically navigate immersive, AI-generated 3D environments. The platform allows personnel to rehearse missions and explore restricted or complex settings, including ships and submarines, before deployment.
