Willdan Group, Inc. (NASDAQ: WLDN) has announced its plan to acquire Mantis Intermediate Holdings, LLC for $285 million in cash, pending Hart-Scott-Rodino anti-trust approval. This acquisition will enhance Willdan's presence in various sectors including data centers and healthcare, leveraging Mantis's expertise in building controls and energy efficiency. The transaction has been approved by Willdan's Board of Directors and will be funded through a new $250 million term loan, along with existing cash and credit facilities. The deal is expected to close in the fourth quarter of 2026.
